Toyota Prius Alpha, the bigger Prius version, was just released in Japan.
However, the pre-order of the derived of the 3rd Prius Hybrid already reached about 25,000 orders.
The Prius Alpha is available in two version which are 5-seater and 7-seater.
The 5-seater priced about 2,350,000 Yen and 7 Seater priced about 3,000,000 Yen.

Toyota Japan reported that Prius Alpha, to date, has been booking already and reached 25,000 orders.
The orders admitted as the biggest orders similar to 8 month targets which only 3,000 units per month.
Actually this car should have been starting to be sent to consumers in March or April, but because Japan hit by the earthquake and tsunami, the plan was delayed and the new unrealized desire now.
Toyota Prius Alpha itself comes with a great body and two options i.e. Prius Alpha with two rows of seats with 5 seater and Prius Alpha with three row seats with 7 seater.
But despite that, Toyota said if both keep will have efficiency typical of the Prius. Both claimed to be able to walk up to 31 km just to drink 1 liter of gasoline aka 1: 31 kpl or about twice of the mileage of the same conventional models.
But for the price, the possibility of the Prius Alpha won't be as cheap as the Prius. For a given Government incentives to buyers of eco-friendly car is no longer implemented.
For 5-seater, Toyota Prius Alpha costs about 2,350,000 Yen and for 7-seater cost about 3 million Yen.
